We are back (on the blog) and aiming to write a little up date for you lovely people every month.
Firstly wanting to wish you all a Happy New Year and hoping you all had a brilliant Christmas. We loved serving you over the Christmas period, you kept us super busy and for that we are extremely grateful. We always love to hear your feedback and see your pictures so please keep tagging us/sharing.
We have kicked off the year with some exciting news…. the cattle are back on the farm and we could not be happier about it. We have a selection of new Aberdeen Angus cross cattle, collected from just a few miles down the road on a neighbouring farm where they were lovingly born and bred from a small suckler herd. They will stay here on the farm with us until the end of the year and be fed on haylage from the farm during the winter months and then will be free to roam and graze outdoors for the spring/summer months.
We were lucky to welcome Robyn into the shop in September (an insight into how rubbish we were at blogging last year!). Robyn is a fantastic butcher and comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has already made her stamp on the shop and is always busy creating new ideas and products for the display. She also sells a range of her beautiful hand-made sheepskin rugs which are on display in the shop, so make sure to check them out next time you pop in!
We have a wide range of stock in store at the moment and are offering 20% off all frozen produce. We have also done a little bit of work (lots more needed) on the website, so this should make it slightly easier to find the products you want to order, this can be selected at checkout for either delivery (within 5 miles) or collection.
We hope to catch you in the shop or out and about soon! Have a fab Jan and let the only blue you see this January be a dry-aged Magness Farms steak.
Ps. make sure you sign up to our blogs above for cheeky discounts and be the first to hear about new products and animal news!
